I the red when the break was going up the road so I dug deep and made it to the group of 8 others. Felt good after a while and then the rain came and it was harder for me to keep up.

First crit of the year. Not fast enough to stay in the lead group.

Danny "Diesel" Alarcon

Crashed and jammed my chain with 10 mins left into the race and was feeling great. I'm not sure who went down first but it was like dominos with 5 riders starting with someone who jumped onto the sidewalk and ending with someone hitting my bars and taking me out. Madone 6.9 is fine and its nothing a few good beers and bandages won't fix. Some how I still placed at 56 :-)
